get allways unsupported error with smargo ans sky a02 card
2010/01/03 6:27:30 8243 r02 failed to read 7401 cmd length (00 a8)
2010/01/03 6:27:30 8243 r02 card system not supported
2010/01/03 6:27:30 8243 r02 card initializing error
with seriel reader no problem, and any other cards @3,57mhz with smargo no problem

The mhz and cardmhz settings are not necessary for Smargo readers.

I must add some information to this ticket as the information stated by landlord is not fully true.
The OSCam configuration for my Smargo and Sky S02 card indeed does not require these settings.
I had to apply the Smargo-patch to the source in order to use my HD+ card. This configuration also requires me to set the Smargo to 3.69 MHz and add the "cardmhz = 357" and "mhz = 357" options to the configuration section. I am also required to set the Kernel mode to "Dreambox" otherwise the ATR is doubled at the second byte and truncated somewhere before the actual end.
Again and again: please show us your hardware- und software configuration.
