#4710 new enhancement

Log shows 'password invalid' even when (only) the IP is invalid, please change

Reported by: poedelski Owned by:
Priority: minor Component: Webinterface
Severity: low Keywords: log invalid ip
Cc: Sensitive: no

Reason for enhancement

Log shows 'password invalid' when a user tries to connect with a wrong password, that's correct: (cccam) password for 'user1' invalid**

Log shows also this message when a user tries to connect from an incorrect IP address:

(client) encrypted cccam-client rejected (user1, invalid ip)
(cccam) password for 'user1' invalid''
(client) user1 disconnected from

It should show something like 'user1 tries to connect from invalid ip address'

Possible impacts on other features

I see now when a user is disabled, the log shows also 'password invalid':

(client) encrypted cccam-client rejected (disabled account)
(cccam) password for 'user2' invalid!
(client) anonymous disconnected from

It looks like this message is a 'general' one, despite of what the reason really is for rejecting the client.

Or is it that when an account is disabled or is binded to an IP address, the password is somehow involded in this?
